Still new to me, grown from seeds from the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library.
Photos I’ve found online give the impression of an Aster that is, visually, half way between Heath Aster and Panicled Aster in form and flowers. They become quite smothered in white blooms in the mid to late fall.
I’m not yet sure whether they are a spreading or a clump forming species, so a meadow or wildflower garden would be my recommendation for ecosystem.
Companion species would be most meadow grasses and other Asters and Goldenrods.
